Vancouver Blogathon July 26-27
|
Many years ago my good friend Trace Beagley (mew.nu is offline now) did a little something called Blogathon.
It inspired me and I thought it was a great idea.
So in July 2006 I raised a few bucks for the World Wild Life Fund and blogged for 24 hours in the Blogathon. My theme was 48 People in 24 hours (click to view the list). I blogged about 48(+) people I had met and told a little story about each encounter or relationship. I tried to include a photo for each.
Last year in 2007 I was in the middle of moving (the 5th move since April 2006) and couldn't join in on the Blogathon that year, but swore I would be back this year with another 48 More People in 24 Hours.
Sadly the folks that host Blogathon can not do it this year.
In their place local Vancouver Blogger Rebecca Bollwitt aka Miss604 decided to take it upon herself to co-ordinate a Vancouver Blogathon for July 26-27.

I am going to do the Sunshine Shift: 7/26/08 0500 GMT (10:00pm PT Friday until 10:00pm PT Saturday)
I am going to raise more money (hopefully) for the SPCA PAWS FOR A CAUSE WALK that I am all ready raising money for. If you have all ready donated thank you. You can click the big SPCA banner on the top of my blog or click here to donate.
