On Tuesday, I took my 9 year old niece to her first BIG concert: The Jonas Brothers. Her choice.
The tickets said 7 PM, so we paid for parking at the last Skytrain station and rode the train down, and hour long trip. Got in our seats just before 7 PM, and there was an opening band playing called Honor Society. Then after then played Jordin Sparks played. Then some awful dance troop of girls came out called Wonder Girls. Then we waited about 30+ minutes for the Jonas Brothers to finally hit the stage. They finished after 10 PM. Way to long a night. We didn't get back home until 11:30 PM. Tsk Tsk on the planners of the show.
But she was a happy girl.
She was thrilled, and couldn't believe how many people were there. She screamed and I think she had a good time. I took a lot of photos for her.
I was grateful that the nice mom next to us gave me a set of ear plugs.
I couldn't believe the amount of screaming teenagers. I have never been witness to such things. I was never one of those screaming teens. But the light show, and stage was quite the show.
Her next concert is Keith Urban in September, it will be very different. There are more photos on my Flickr page.
